Sunil Ibrahim’s Y gets going quite well and vows to be an undeniably exhilarating watch however is massively let somewhere near its tepid peak. Portraying an entwined story of outsiders living in and around a highrise in Kerala who face each other after a young lady is kidnapped in wide light. With generally less popular entertainers playing lead jobs (except for Alencier Lopez), the film fastens its story like a tension spine chiller. There is enough happening for a typical watcher to watch and appreciate as the plot exists to investigate the norm of the present unempathetic world. That individuals couldn’t care less or act in instances of emergency (as the one examined here), and other social issues like police aloofness and unethicality of information channel writers, are what Y attempts to show. Does it succeed? Not actually, on the grounds that separated from the novice acting, the screenplay gives more weight to the last bend and relies upon it to engage its watchers.
